O`ahu — North Shore

Tight-knit communities in Waialua and Haleiwa were inundated with red volcanic mud. Over 5,500 residents were forced to evacuate under imminent threat of the Wahiawā Dam overflowing. Roads were destroyed. Farms were ruined. Families were upended overnight.

Maui — Still Recovering

The still-recovering community of Lahaina and surrounding West Maui areas faced terrifying runoff and wastewater overflows. Floodwaters rushed down the fire-scarred mountains. Homes were swept off foundations. Statewide emergency declarations impacted multiple islands.

Directed to the Lāʻie Community Association, matching the $20,000 contribution from Native Hawaiian Community Development Corporation.

Deployed directly toward kupuna relief, ensuring our elders receive immediate support, resources, and care.

Working with NHCDC, Hawaiian Council, and Lāʻie Community Association to coordinate rapid response efforts.
